Alex Abra "Celentano Show"
A new, unique, only show in Russia dedicated to Adriano Celentano, presented by the famous Russian singer Alex Abra. The most famous songs of the national idol will be performed (“Soli”, “Il Tempo Se Ne Va”, “Confessa”, “Susanna” and so on), and Alex, in his characteristic humorous manner, will talk about interesting moments in Adriano’s life. Each of the songs in the program will correspond to a specific event and stage of Celentano’s life; the show as a whole is like his whole life. The audience will be treated to an unforgettable romantic evening accompanied by the music of a great artist.
Alex Abra is a pop-jazz singer, composer and linguist, fluent in English, French and Italian. He has a rare velvety baritone and mostly sings in the manner of the great crooners: a style that is not often heard these days, but was extremely popular in the US and Europe in the 1940s and 50s.
Alex performs at leading venues in Moscow (including the House of Music and Gradsky Hall). In 2019, he became the winner of the international jazz festival “Usadba Jazz”, and also participated in Alexander Gradsky’s project “Anti-VOICE”. He is a resident of several Moscow jazz clubs. In his performances, he not only demonstrates impeccable pronunciation (which is not so typical for Russian vocalists) and not only communicates with the audience with characteristic light humor, but sometimes even shows elements of real American tap dancing.
